KFC Big Bash League 2016/17- During a match played between Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers, the Thunder’s wicket-kepeer Jay Lenton missed an easy chance of stumping the Scorchers batsman Adam Voges.

This all happened when Voges facing Chris Green, made a futile attempt to sweep the ball to the square-leg boundary. But, he missed the ball completely which went behind the stumps into the hands of the wickeeper Jay Lenton. Not realizing that his appeal for caught behind was going to be turned down, Lenton instinctively whipped off the bails and by the time the batsman was back in his crease.

Also, Voges was retired hurt on the same delivery after just scoring the three runs.
