David Warner (born 27 October 1986) is an explosive left-handed opening batsman who currently plays for New South Wales, Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Sydney Thunder.
He is the first Australian player to be selected for a national team in any format without experience of first-class cricket.
In August 2015, Warner became the vice-captain of Australia across Test and ODI formats of the game.
On 7th November 2015, the left-hander achieved one of the rarest feat of becoming only the third batsmen in Test cricket history, after Sunil Gavaskar and Ricky Ponting, to score centuries in both innings of a Test match thrice.
Also, he is the first Australian and sixth overall to complete 1,500 runs in T20 Internationals.
