David Warner becomes the fifth batsman to score a century before lunch on Day 1 of a Test match

Opening batsman David Warner has now become the fifth batsman in cricket history to score a century before lunch on Day 1 of a Test match.

In the first innings of the ongoing third Test between Australia and Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Warner tore the Pakistani bowling attack and completed his 18th century in the morning session of play.

The southpaw reached the landmark 4 minutes before the break in just 78 balls including 17 boundaries. It is the fourth time Warner has completed his Test century in less than 100 balls.
