We have witnessed cricketers giving autographs to their fans on the boundary. But what if they share some of the food from a fan? Well, it’s something out of the ordinary.
Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh was fielding in the deep during the Ashes Test in England in 2015, when a rare incident took place.
A fan offered Marsh a piece of ‘cheese’ to eat when he was near the boundary. Making sure there was no ball being bowled, Marsh hopped over the rope, had a bite of food and returned back.
The cheese certainly boosted his energy as he dived to save a four soon after. Hasn’t it been the great gesture from a fan?
