There were three caught-and-bowled catches on Day 3 of the ongoing second Ashes Test which helped Australia in the collapse of England’s lower-middle batting order. Mitchell Starc took a terrific juggling catch on his follow-through to dismiss Jonny Bairstow.
In the 54th over of England’s innings, Bairstow tried to cover the line of the ball bowled by Starc and play it straight down the ground. The ball swung away from Bairstow as he batted the straight shot too early.
Starc was quick to react on his follow through and got one hand on it. The ball bounced off his right hand but Starc maintained his balance. He turned back and kept his eyes on the ball, completing the catch with ease.
