Australia’s swashbuckling all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is known for his whacky batting style, an explosive batsman down the order and a handy right arm off-break bowler. And during a T20 match between Melbourne Stars and Adelaide Strikers, Maxwell showed what he is capable of doing just from his crease.
Known as the innovator of the ‘switch-stance-hit’ – once popularised by Kevin Pietersen – Maxwell took the former Australian opening bowler Peter Siddle for a ride. It was the second ball of the 18th over and Melbourne Stars were piling up a fighting total with Maxwell at its helm.
The ball pitched somewhere outside middle and off, slightly on a fuller length and with ease, Maxi produced a standing reverse-sweep for a boundary between point and covers.

This. Is. Insane!
